Intro
Who doesn’t dream of a being a Sabyasachi bride? The Sabyasachi Lehenga is like a dream for all, but not for our bride today. Our bride today says everyone wants to be a Sabyasachi bride but that’s the exact reason I didn’t want to wear a Sabyasachi lehenga cause it was so common. Well, she did go for a different designer and you will love her wedding outfit, and not just the wedding outfit but all her outfits are so so gorgeous.
Meet Ria & Ishan
Ria & Ishan met each other when they were 13 & 16 respectively. It’s their childhood friendship that has now turned into Forever. They started dating 2 years later and after a long courtship period of 8 years, Ishan proposed to Ria in Dubai in Feb 2019.
The wedding celebrations began with the auspicious Sai Sandhya and Mata ki Chowki. Post the blessings, the wedding festivities kickstarted with full swing.
Sai Sandhya
Ishan in an ivory sherwani and Ria in a red lehenga complemented each other and looked ravishing. The highlight of Ria’s look is her hair, braids styled with gajras are making such a big statement.
Mata ki Chowki
Mehendi
Ria glowed with happiness on her Mehendi and her orange coloured outfit just added an extra spark to her overall look.
Choora & Hadi Ceremony
Ria opted for a tangerine bandhani print saree for her Haldi and the Choora ceremony. She looked fresh as a bud and we can’t stop gushing over the look. Those big floral hoops are something that we haven’t come across so far and they look beautiful.

The Wedding
Ria says she definitely wanted to wear a Red and that’s when her eyes fell on Dolly J red lehenga and instantly knew it was meant for her. We couldn’t agree more Ria looks like a dream in this red outfit. The blouse of the lehenga is a show stopper, and the overall look is both modern and traditional at the same time. It’s more like east meets the west. Ishan wore a dark brown and burgundy mix sherwani by Manish Malhotra for the wedding and looked dapper.
