#ARDHAN – Two Souls Became One
Let’s take a flashback to their Love Story…
“Hi, I Arpita recently got married to Dhananjay( legally wedded, as by profession he is a judicial magistrate and me pursuing a Ph.D. in law). Our marriage is a blend of hate and love, arrange and love story filled with full mirch masala as it’s a result of perfect traditional chaos of 3 years. We were batchmates in 2013 during post-graduation and there the hate story started which eventually turned into love in 2017. All thanks to the same profession. Now, we are finally married after an emotional battle of 3 long years. Yes, today I am HAPPILY MARRIED!!” – says the bride.
Wedding Functions
Like every bride, I always had a dream wedding in my mind. So, I fulfilled my dreams by customizing my wedding dresses, jewelry all by myself. To add extra bling to my wedding functions I wore dresses inspired by different cultures and states. The inspiration behind my every look were the brides I saw on the internet.
Haldi
Haldi symbolizes glow & brightness, so I selected yellow palazzo saree depicting the culture of Maharashtra. I paired the outfit with yellow-colored jutti with “Patola Dulhan” written on it. Above all, we love how the bride has kept her Haldi looks simple & refreshing.
Mehendi
For mehendi, I wore sharara and kurta giving it a touch of Punjab. To add extra glam to mehendi look, I wore green bangles with kaleere & bride & groom dolls attached to it. Moreover, I paired the outfit with customized footwear with ” Sexy Bride ” written on the bow.
Sangeet
“My favorite was the sangeet look which was all dramatic. I customized my sangeet lehenga by giving it Gujarat touch & by incorporating my husband’s pictures with me at the bottom of lehenga. The customized jewelry by Souvenir the gift shop complimented my uber-chic sangeet look. I also performed on songs from the 70s to date.”- says Arpita.
Wedding
“I wanted to go as traditional as possible for the wedding. So I went with Maroon Lehenga with a traditional print from VARANASI. Trust me every bride must visit the place, it’s a traditional hub. I complimented my bridal look with Gajra bun giving it South Indian touch. Above all, I planned to be a full melodramatic bride and Bollywood fan for my wedding.”- says Arpita.
Fun Moments At Wedding
The fun moments were having drunk family and friends creating drama. My wedding brought their Indian Munda and kudi attitude out like anything.
Advice from the bride
“Every bride to be must remember your world is going to change…live as much you can live in the world you are right now. Rest is all destiny!! This is your day…live it!! Love it!! Feel it!! ” – says Arpita.
