We’ve all heard the mushy romance stories pretty much most of the time. This couple’s story is pretty filmy, like the ones where the hero saves the heroine from the villains. The only difference the villain in this story is a Lizard. Aditi & Gaurav were work colleagues, the work- relationship turned into friendship when Gaurav saved Aditi from the Lizard.
They soon became good friends and then started dating. They bonded so well that within a month of dating, they both knew they had found their Significant Other. 2 Years later they got engaged at Wedding Villa, Noida and finally tied the Knot on 19th November 2019 in the City Beautiful, Chandigarh. This wedding beside having a filmy story at the backdrop also happens to be a #2stateswedding as Aditi is a Noida girl and Guarav a Himachali Boy. Oh, Wait!!! It also has a blooper, you need to read on to find out.
Wedding Planning
Wedding planning is easy, no one has ever said that and Aditi too thinks the same. Aditi has always been very dreamy about her wedding and she wanted to do all by herself. Aditi says it wasn’t an easy task and we started by looking for the venue we picked up Chandigarh as an ideal destination owing it’s close proximity to Noida and Himachal. Once we finalized the venue Velvet Clarks Exotica, Zirakpur we moved on to the other things.
Outfits
Bride Aditi wore beautiful outfits throughout her wedding functions right from engagement to wedding. She picked up a lavender gown for her engagement, a bright yellow pink lehenga for her Mehendi, pink lehenga for the Haldi. Her favourite look is the Mehendi Look, she swears by taking inspiration from Instagram to create the look.
Wedding Look
We are absolutely loving her wedding look with maroon lehenga and the double dupatta in shades of pink and green. The dupatta was 5 Metre long, so as to have a long trail.
On Getting Clicked !!
The couple had hired two teams of wedding photographers. Aditi says we had to give the same shots twice and thrice to the different teams and it was one hell of a task. There also came a time when the photographers were competing with each other to take the best shots.
The Wedding Blooper
We all know it gets really confusing and at times we forget a lot of things in the wedding madness and realize it later. But, here it wasn’t the bride or the groom or their families but the Pandit Ji. After all the wedding rituals took place, pheras were done and marriage happened Pandit Ji realized they had forgotten the mangasutra ritual. Isn’t it really funny?
Bride Tips for the Other Brides-to-Be
1. Make a notepad and write down all the important things that you need to book or buy for your functions. Keep it handy so that you don’t forget the things.
2. Do not just focus on your clothes and jewellery but also on the groom attire.
3. If you have an ample amount of time for the wedding, start by planning small, like your entry songs, researching your wedding look, your cake design whatever you feel should be included in your wedding.
