Nidhi & Rachit
“Rachit and I met through my dad. I lived in Kenya and Rachit was in Australia. My dad visited Perth by the end of 2014 and met Rachit and his family there. As I was an aspiring dentist then and Rachit had just graduated as a dentist, my dad introduced me to him. We started talking over WhatsApp and eventually that turned into long hours of Face time. We established a bond within the first month of speaking to each other. He visited me in Melbourne in March 2015, and that’s when we first met physically and started dating.”- says the bride.
A Vibrant Mehendi Look
“I did not want to wear a lehenga for the Mehendi, so I opted something that is unusual, different, comfortable and something that would suit the theme of the event. As we had so many games and activities happening, I wanted something classy yet easy to play in. A dhoti with a long jacket was the perfect combination of an unusual outfit yet unbelievably comfortable. And most importantly, I wanted something that I can recycle and wear again. The designer for my Mehendi Outfit is Chamee and Palak.“
Simple & Subtle Mehendi Design
“I had no story in my Mehendi. It was just a normal bridal mehendi design with a figure of the bride and groom with the Garlands facing each other “- says the bride.
Unique & Beautiful Mehendi Decor With Pop Of Colors
“The theme that we opted was a fun, quirky, informal, relaxed funfair theme. We went for all bright colors from red to blue. Moreover, we had a round floral couple seating as the pool being our backdrop and incorporated a lot of quirky signage’s to break the formality of the function. For all the girls/ladies who attended the function, we gifted them gemstone necklace as a Mehendi giveaway.”
“We had high tea set up across the pool and had lots of kabana’s & lounge seating across the entire poolside that added to the Fair (Mela) Theme. For the photoshoot, there were floral hanging frames & quirky props that guests could use to take pictures. Above all, for our couple entry, we used color blasts that added a whole chunk of color to the event.”
