Wedding Planning
We started a little over a year in advance with a little trip around Rajasthan and near Delhi to the scout wedding venue with my parents. It was such fun actually and we made a little holiday of it with my parents – visiting beautiful venues, trying to imagine our wedding festivities there, spending quality time with my folks!
We settled on Neemrana Tijara Fort Palace – because of many reasons like the location from Delhi, the layout, the team.. but the core reason was just love at first sight. We set foot in the place and I just knew it was perfect. It is beautiful, historic, without being ostentatious and set on a plateau amongst paddy fields on one side, the desert on the other. It’s other-worldly. There are too many things to say about how beautiful and well looked after the property is. The staff and the team are a dream.
Overall our planning experience was lovely, even if slightly manic (as one would expect) – We had an amazing crew of people we worked with – each handpicked after research and thorough conversations.

Band Baja Baraat
Indian Shaadi without the Band Baja Baraat is next to impossible. Josh and his baraati’s all dresses in impeccable Indian outfits danced their hearts out during the baraat possession and pictures are a delight to watch. They were given a traditional Indian welcome by Suhana’s family.
