Intro
Love knows no boundaries and borders, when Love has to happen it happens, and once you fall in love there is no better feeling. Our coupley today Suhani and Josh may belong to different countries and ethnicity but their Love comes without these tags. Their wedding celebration at Neemrana Tijara Fort Palace, Rajasthan is a testament to their love.
Meet Josh & Suhani
Josh & Suhani met whilst in college in Hong Kong. Suhani studied there as a full-time student and Josh was in exchange from his university in the UK for a year. They met towards the end of the semester through friends, by chance on a student night out in the city. Next time the two met was at the same bar, with the same friends, but Josh had been to a fancy dress do beforehand and came dressed as a ghostbuster!
Suhani: I didn’t know what to make of this human, but just knew he was silly and fun and made me happy. Also – his dimples.
Josh: She came across as really smart and driven, but also kind and compassionate. Her energy was (and is) infectious.
We started a little over a year in advance with a little trip around Rajasthan and near Delhi to the scout wedding venue with my parents. It was such fun actually and we made a little holiday of it with my parents – visiting beautiful venues, trying to imagine our wedding festivities there, spending quality time with my folks!
We settled on Neemrana Tijara Fort Palace – because of many reasons like the location from Delhi, the layout, the team.. but the core reason was just love at first sight. We set foot in the place and I just knew it was perfect. It is beautiful, historic, without being ostentatious and set on a plateau amongst paddy fields on one side, the desert on the other. It’s other-worldly. There are too many things to say about how beautiful and well looked after the property is. The staff and the team are a dream.
Overall our planning experience was lovely, even if slightly manic (as one would expect) – We had an amazing crew of people we worked with – each handpicked after research and thorough conversations.

Getting The GROOM Ready
Band Baja Baraat
Indian Shaadi without the Band Baja Baraat is next to impossible. Josh and his baraati’s all dresses in impeccable Indian outfits danced their hearts out during the baraat possession and pictures are a delight to watch. They were given a traditional Indian welcome by Suhana’s family.
Here comes the Bride
Suhani and Josh’s wedding at Tijara Fort Palace was filled with beautiful moments from Vramala to Vidaii and here are a few pictures from their beautiful wedding. It’s hard to not fall in love with them.
Wedding Planners
Our planners AV Star Entertainment were great in that they really understood the venue and had a great relationship with the team there. They were our guides through everything in the wedding planning process! The team at AV star entertainment managed our vendors from traditional dancers, DJ, Baraat, etc – and it was all very well picked and managed – making it so easy for us to select and execute all our events.
Makeup, hair and draping Shikha Chandra
I cannot tell you how important it is to have a makeup artist who you like hanging out with you a LOT. Because if you have a packed destination wedding, you’re gonna be spending a lot of time with them, trust me. By the end of my wedding weekend, I felt that Shikha and I were fast friends. She went the extra mile to make sure I looked my best at each event. She met me weeks before my wedding to try on lipstick shades on me because I was nervous about it. On my wedding day, I had a mad swollen eye and she just took charge – ice packs, makeup, whatever was needed to make me look my best. Shikha just gets it and then she gets it done! And gosh, I loved my wedding day look – it was everything I wanted it to be.
Wedding Photography
Beginnings For You photography team did our videos and photography. Simran is a fantastic person to work with – very easy going personality (cannot stress enough how important this is! You need no additional stress on what is going to be a manic time), her and the team become one of the family within the wedding – not obtrusive but getting in there to capture the best moment. The results have been beautiful. We can’t wait to see the full set from her and the team! She’s awesome.
Wedding outfit
Jayanti Reddy. I loved this lehenga month before my wedding. I looked at everything else on the planet and kept coming back to it, so finally, I got it. The team at Ogaan helped me to get it customised exactly how I wanted.
