How We Met
“Ours is an arranged marriage, I am from Aurangabad, Maharashtra and my partner is from Bombay. We met through our families, and in just a couple of meetings we gelled up so well and decided on forever. I got engaged in February 2019 in Mumbai and married on the 8th of December at Hotel Radisson Blu, Karjat. It was a destination wedding, a big fat Indian wedding. I and Mohit both always wanted a destination wedding. And Hotel Radisson Blu, Karjat is one of the hottest and best wedding destinations in Maharashtra. So, we chose that :)”- says Pooja.
Pre-wedding Shoot
We had a 2-day pre-wedding photo and video shoot in Lonavla, Maharashtra. It was the best time full of fun, laughter & love.
Wedding Functions
We had a total of 8 functions, out of which 4 were at Karjat, one reception in Mumbai and one reception in Aurangabad. I tried different looks in all the functions and it included different makeup artists as well. I have been a big fan of makeup and since I had so many functions, I decided to choose different makeup artists for a few of the functions.
Popular makeup artists from the industry which included Kamlesh Goplani, Guneet Virdi, Priyanka Hazari, Sapna Sherry, Mua Divya Hema were there to doll me up in my wedding festivities. Above all, the experience was amazing. And, I was fully satisfied with all my looks and the work of all the makeup artists was phenomenal!
Mehendi
There wasn’t any wedding theme as such, but yes the Mehendi party dress code was green. Also, my wedding hashtag was #PoojaKaमोह (since his name is Mohit- so मोह) and moreover, everybody had written the wedding hashtag with mehendi on their respective hands.
My Mehendi design had our wedding hashtag which was #PoojaKaमोह (Pooja and Mohit- hence Pooja Ka मोह). It also included a chair on one hand, since my partner is into Office Chair Manufacturing Business, and a CA logo on the other hand, since I am a Chartered Accountant. On the backhand, I had a glass and liquor bottle, since my father is into the liquor business. Rest of the mehendi had details of all events including Pheras, Baaraat, Var Mala, Sindoor, etc

Also, the engagement included a lot of dances, I dedicated one dance to my parents, and everybody loved the dance. By the end of the dance, every person present there had tears in their eyes.

The most fun part of the wedding day was the feeling of getting married, the outfits, the makeup, that feeling of being ONE with your partner, the dances, etc.
